Refund policy

If you subscribe to Ledger of Life and decide within 60 days that it is not for you, email [email protected] and ask. You get the full amount back. You do not have to say why, you do not have to have used it, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.

60 days is deliberate. A personal finance tool is only worth judging after you have seen it handle a couple of month-ends, and a two-week trial does not give you that.

Ledger imports your full account history from tools like Empower and Monarch — not just the last couple of years. If we cannot bring your history across, you do not pay. Ask for a refund on that basis at any point in your first 60 days and it is given without argument.

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and say you would like a refund. That is the whole process. You will get a reply confirming it, and the full amount goes back in US dollars, to the card you paid with.

Refunds are issued through our payment provider and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. The timing after we issue it is up to them, not us.

A refund ends the subscription. Your ledger becomes read-only — everything you built stays visible and exportable — and your bank connections are closed. Nothing is deleted because you asked for your money back.

Subscriptions are annual and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time — cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access through the period you already paid for.

Outside the 60-day window we do not refund a year already under way as a matter of course. If something has genuinely gone wrong, write anyway; a business this small can look at the actual situation rather than a rule.

You will be emailed before an annual subscription renews. If a renewal takes you by surprise, tell us within 30 days of the charge and it will be refunded.
